Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering with SOSS offers an opportunity to get involved and meet other members of the church and the greater community, while also helping people in need.

Food Pantry – Volunteers are needed on Mondays 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to pack food and process clients.  

Food Rescue – Volunteers are needed on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Volunteers sort food, pack and haul boxes, and work with clients.  

First Wednesday of the Month – volunteers are needed in late morning / early afternoon to assist with our monthly food delivery.  This is labor intensive.
