Jennifer Hageman

Pastor

Pastor Jen characterizes her life as one long road trip, figuratively and literally. She was born in Denver, yet grew up throughout the U.S., as her dad’s work with "Mobile" Oil (as she called it), had them moving often. Pastor Jen returned to Denver after attending the University of South Dakota. She attended the Denver Paralegal Institute, and moved to Nebraska and western Colorado, back to Denver, and then settled in Las Vegas for 16 years, where she still has family. Pastor Jen holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and joined us July 2019 from Gila Mountain United Methodist Church in Yuma, Arizona.

She has participated in mission trips to Mexico, California, Phoenix, and eastern Montana. While in seminary, she also interned at a nursing home and participated in leading a weekly worship service at a men’s minimum-security prison.

Pastor Jen describes herself as "a people person to the core," saying she "will strike up a conversation with a friend or a stranger at the drop of a hat.” She also says, "I realized how many stories remained to be heard - stories that over time have shattered biases, increased understanding and ignited my passion for mercy and justice."
